The Storyline

Goliath is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. It is a record-breaking wooden-steel hybrid coaster designed by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) and opened in 2014. Goliath features a steep 180-foot drop at an 85-degree angle, reaching speeds of up to 72 mph. The ride includes two inversions: a dive loop and a zero-g stall, offering thrilling airtime and a smooth, fast-paced ride experience.

Apocalypse at Six Flags Magic Mountain is a wooden roller coaster known for its fast-paced, intense ride experience. Built in 2009, it features a classic wooden coaster design but with modern engineering that offers a smooth and exhilarating ride. It stands 95 feet tall, reaching speeds of up to 50 mph as it twists, turns, and drops along 2,850 feet of track.

Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure is a thrilling steel flying coaster that allows riders to experience the sensation of flight. Opened in 2003, this coaster was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), known for their smooth and innovative ride designs. The ride begins with a climb up a 106-foot hill, after which riders are put into a flying position, face-down, to simulate Superman’s flying posture.

Wild Eagle is a steel wing coaster located at Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Opened in 2012, it was the first wing coaster in the United States. Designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, Wild Eagle provides a unique riding experience with seats positioned on either side of the track, allowing riders to feel as if they are soaring through the sky.
