Xcelerator is a high-speed launch roller coaster located at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Manufactured by Intamin, it debuted in 2002 and is known for its intense hydraulic launch system. Xcelerator accelerates riders from 0 to 82 mph in just 2.3 seconds, sending them up a 205-foot top hat element that features a near-vertical ascent and descent. The track then follows a series of banked turns and airtime hills before safely returning to the station.
