The Runaway Ore Cart was a steel kiddie roller coaster at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. Manufactured by Molina & Son, it featured an oval track layout and operated from 1999 until its closure in 2004.
The coaster was located at approximately 36°40'10.2"N 93°20'23.6"W, where the River Blast attraction stands today.
In 2006, the Grand Exposition Coaster, built by Zamperla, opened as part of a new area called "The Grand Exposition." This ride is believed to have replaced the Runaway Ore Cart, continuing the tradition of family-friendly roller coasters in the park.
The Runaway Ore Cart was a beloved attraction for younger guests, offering a gentle introduction to roller coasters. Its closure marked the end of an era, but the legacy of family-oriented rides continues at Silver Dollar City.
